This page is all about the author. Or at least what she chooses to share anyway. I am her. She is me. And I do be sharin’ – probably overly so!
Fair warning this is a work in progress… And sister is still living life (or trying to) so updates will be necessary. Bear with me!
Early Life
Born with big opinions and an even bigger attitude, I spent my early years confidently making up new words and stories – literally marching or maybe dancing to the beat of my own drum. Sas is my middle name and girl power is the game. My childhood highlights include dramatic personal narratives, owning every stage I graced, and an unwaivering belief that I could do anything I set my mind to – or at least everything my older siblings did!
Obviously there’s so much more to add in each section with (don’t you know it) more photos too but sister is tired. It’s 3AM though so that makes sense… More soon!
Teenage Dirtbag – also known as high school years
So yadda yadda I did all the things all the time and probably not well but it was fun. All sports. All teams, clubs, and competitions. All the things. Valedictorian, 4.0, and peace out baby!
Again y’all know sister ain’t leaving it like this! But yeah that’s pretty much it..
IDK what’s next.. College right?
And this is where life started flying at me fast… Just wait and I’ll tell you all about it!
Update 1: Liz attended Auburn University Montgomery on scholarship intent on studying to become a pharmacist (transferring schools after making the best use of her scholarship for general studies and lower level courses). She quickly realized her and Chemistry weren’t going to mesh in that short of a course and changed her major to Business.
Update 2: After graduating with a bachelors in Business Administration Liz decided to continue her education at Auburn University in the MBA program. A funny story, several cross campus walks, and one week living on the Plains with her little brother later and tragedy struck. Liz moved home but continued her masters at AUM a semester later successfully earning her MBA July 2018.
Update 3: Liz has also completed the Teacher Ready certification program through NWF earning a certificate in Elementary Ed, Mathematics 6-12, and Business 6-12.
Update 4: Who knows what’s next!

Educator – seriously who knew, right?
I be teachin’ the maths. And sometimes the maths on that don’t be mathin’… Just sayin. Oh and sometimes they let me coach. Which is fun but questionable decision on their part really.
FLORIDA!
Toes in the water. Toes in the sand. Not a worry in the world. A good book in my hand. Life is good today!
*We’re friends either way but seriously says something about you if you heard that as the Taylor Swift song, from Hamilton, or as the Beach Boys sing it in Kokomo… Actually, probably just says how old you are – better not answer that!
Home Fries – my favorite people
The ‘rents
They cool I guess.

Bretheren
There’s two of them. Book ends. 6 years apart and well over 6 feet tall. But I can still take them… I think! *hears Toby Keith in the background “now my body says oh you can’t do this boy, but my pride says oh yes you can!*
Kake

Miss you sis, see ya real soon! Heres wondering if it needs more words here – that I totally plan to write! – to fix the formatting… ok so I know I gotta come tell ALL the fun things about you!
You’ve also probably already read about her some. If not check out my blog posts!
The Grands

They’re “elderly”… which really means sassy and do/say what they want – highly entertaining. 10 out of 10 would recommend.
MBL

Wouldn’t know what to do without these bougie World (and Land) traveler relatives of mine! Learned AuntieLife from the BEST there is!
Hot Spots – my happy places
Camp, Beach, Mountains, the gym, Disney World/Land, Home… to be continued..
Liz’s Library
Because you know what’s a good blog without overly wordy recipes or super long opinionated book reviews? I don’t cook though, and my only recipes are family secrets soooooo… Yay for books!
Start with “The Mistletoe Promise” by Richard Paul Evans. Can’t go wrong there. It’s a FAVE!!!
But seriously this list is LONG. Patience, I’ll get there!
